1982 Yamaha XJ1100J Maxim

Yamaha XJ1100 Maxim - Before"I have a 1982 Yamaha XJ1100J Maxim that I rescued from basement of mower/cycle shop. It was in rough shape. They had given up on getting it to run and stop (carbs and brakes). I bought it and was riding it that week. I have had it for last 3 years. I got to do 2nd gear soon otherwise in great shape.

I bought it to fix and sell, but the 1st ride on it changed my mind!

Yamaha XJ1100 Maxim - After
By the way it has 59,000 miles and rides like a dream. Since the outside pic was taken, I have polished all the aluminum to near chrome."
