My Bike a 1982 Yamaha Virago...

Aloha and welcome! These are pics of me with my new hobby (or toy, depending on how you look at things).

The bike is a 1982 Yamaha Virago, XV920J. It had 9,600 miles on it by the time I acquired it on Tuesday, February 8th, 2005, and was purchased at a great price (I'm not telling).

I'm still learning things about bikes, since its been 25 years or so since I last rode. But, like anything else, once you've learned, you never forget.

A great addition was the purchase of a windshield from Bike Bandit.Along with the windshield, I also had to purchase a kit for the rear-view mirrors, because the handle bars on my bike are square. What a difference it made while riding in the cold wind on the highway.
